We are proud to be a new member of The American Chamber of Commerce that constantly support and improve the business environment in Slovakia. 

Our law firm Lansky, Ganzger & Partner Rechtsanwälte spol. s r. o. in cooperation with AmCham Slovakia have prepared the webinar on the Construction law – current challenges and necessary changes, which was held on 25th February, 2021. The main speaker was our managing partner Martin Jacko, the webinar was led by Zuzana Cisárova from The American Chamber of Commerce.

What was the content of the webinar?

  • a brief historical background,
  • the most significant amendments to the Building Act,
  • challenges of the current legislation,
  • shortcomings and the need to adapt various legal institutes that cause complications and prolong the whole process,
  • the issue of black buildings,
  • topics related to the construction process, in particular the EIA process, energy efficiency, digitization in construction,
  • the prepared amendment to the Building Act.

The aim of the webinar is to draw attention to the need for a new concept stemming from market demands and practices, as well as support and bring forward discussion between professionals and government on this topic.

LANSKY, GANZGER + Partner is a member of the BIM association Slovakia, which creates conditions for anchoring the legislative and standard framework of BIM in Slovakia. Martin is a member of a working group for electronic and digitization of construction administration in connection with the current preparation of building regulations, which operates at the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic.
